A mindfuck one minute story: Mushroom forest
My world has transformed into a mushroom forest. New mushrooms pop up here and there, every now and then. It’s all that people talk about in these grey times. And it’s not only about where the mushrooms occur but also where the spore cloud falls. But I don’t need mushrooms, just a cosy blanket and maybe some green paper to burn in the fireplace. I meet no one as I leave my home. Playing hide and seek became very popular when approaching other people became risky. Despite our efforts, many were lost and maybe that is why we feel so lonely. My heart aches like it was rotten. My brains are itching and it only gets worse once I reach the city centre. There are monstrous yelling, rage and bullying. An uncountable number of screens. Numerous wolf packs are on the move, ready to defend their territory against competing lions and hyenas. They all think in a different way but use the same solution: Dodgeball. It’s another very famous play. Many have enrolled in a team and more teams are formed
